Lots to Cheer about this June!

The fun continues in June as we welcome more local and global events this month. We have a great mix of athletic, educational and scientific meetings that will surely fill our building with lots of energy and cheer.

Speaking of cheer, among our featured events in June was the inaugural Global Dance + Cheer Games last June 10 – 12, 2016. Showcasing aspiring Cheer + Dance talent from around the world, the Global Dance + Cheer Games 2016 was an exclusive invitation-only competition inspired by the global need to showcase studio dance and non-Worlds’ cheer divisions at a prestigious International event. This unique, world-first competition was an unforgettable experience for all the 1,000 plus teams and attendees from all over the world.

Soon after is another sports-related event, the 1st Annual Aloha Region Summer Volleyball Classic. The Aloha Region is part of USA Volleyball and represents all volleyball players from Hawaii, Guam, and American Samoa. A projected 1,000 attendees (including the athletes and the public) will get to enjoy this inaugural volleyball tournament from June 16 – 18, 2016.

Lastly, we welcome the 13th International Coral Reef Symposium (ICRS) on June 19 – 25, 2016. Held every four years ICRS is the primary international meeting on coral reef science and management. The Symposium will bring together an anticipated 2,500 coral reef scientists, policy makers and managers from 70 different nations.
