Is the Center open to the public?
No. The Hawai‘i Convention Center continues to follow State of Hawai‘i restrictions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, remaining closed since March 18, 2020.
What about scheduled events?
All public events previously scheduled during this time are either postponed or cancelled. Please review updates to our events calendar at events.hawaiiconvention.com.
How are you keeping staff, guests and communities safe?
All volunteer personnel and staff are required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and are having their temperatures and security credentials checked upon entry. The Center has also developed health and safety guidelines available HERE.
When will the Center reopen?
We are following the latest developments in the response to COVID-19, and are working closely with meeting and event planners to reschedule events during this time. While we do not have a firm reopening date, we are monitoring City and State guidelines.
