More than 2,000 physicians and healthcare professionals from across the U.S. will convene at the Hawai`i Convention Center for the National Medical Association’s (NMA) annual convention and scientific assembly from August 2-6. This is the third time the NMA will be holding its conference at the Center.
This year’s conference, which includes seminars and demonstrations addressing critical medical concerns, will cover issues related to men and women’s health, community medicine, evidence-based stress reduction, and more.
Founded in 1895, the NMA is the nation’s oldest and largest medical association representing the interests of more than 35,000 African American physicians and their patients. The NMA repeatedly advocates for policies that would assure equitable and quality health care for all people.Follow us!
