Lions Club Returning in 2015

lions club logo The Hawai`i Convention Center is pleased to announce that the Lions Clubs International has chosen Hawai`i as the site for their international convention in June 2015. The last time the Lions Clubs International met in Hawai`i was in June of 2000, attracting nearly 20,000 attendees, which at the time was the second largest meeting held at the Hawai`i Convention Center.

Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.3 million members in more than 45,000 clubs worldwide. When the Lions met in Hawai`i in 2000, a large part of their meeting included various community service efforts as well as treating residents and visitors to a very colorful parade in Waikiki.
